Mincemeat Pie with Hard Sauce
I wanted to bring a little nostalgia this holiday season. Early mincemeat pies were known as Christmas pies. Warm this glazed mincemeat pie in the oven for 20 minutes in a preheated oven of 350 degrees. Drizzle handmade hardsauce over the top.
Mincemeat pie is a mixture of chopped dried fruit, distilled spirits, and spices stewed together. There is NO Meat. Filling is cooked by me along with a handmade flaky pastry.
Mincemeat pie comes with a 4oz jar of hardsauce and reusable pie pan.
Pie can be frozen and hard sauce keeps for several weeks in the refrigerator.
